Mixed chairs by Shelterness

What a diverse construct these platforms are. Anything imaginable is possible.
It may not be comfortable but it will delight you visually. It may be comfortable
but be painful to your artistic sensibilities. We make them from wood, steel, fabric,
cardboard, plastic. We can stack them. We don’t have to have six of the same chair – we can
mix it up. Do you have a sock/shoe chair in the bedroom? Do you have one by the door or in your
mud room? Do you have a chair in the kitchen for a visitor or when you get too tired to stand
anymore? Of course chairs in the kitchen are very usual as we tend to eat there, but have
you ever seen just a chair in a nook? It looks fabulous. Let’s see some of this now and some
of it another time.

Waiting Room with all the right details. Color, Foliage, Lighting and Comfort.

Those of us who like to read do very well
in waiting rooms. But there is a lot to be said for making these rooms
comfortable not merely a collection of chairs and side tables.

Everyone’s mood is better when surrounded by beauty and comfort.

Let’s look at a great office that’s been designed beautifully.
Just a few adjustments to make your office a destination!

Comfort has already been mentioned. What about a refreshment?
Water, Coffee or Tea? Do you have a theme or a mission statement
that you would like to emphasize? This is an excellent opportunity
to educate your visitors, to display your brand and to create positive energy.

Here is a great office by creativefan. You might like to take away a few ideas. Great Color.
Good Placement of each piece. Foliage for color, form and good health.

Plants lower dust and toxins in the air we breathe.
Plants make our homes and offices more comfortable, humidity levels
are maintained nicely with the water evaporating from each pretty leaf.
Plants improve our mood. Much like a walk in the woods or receiving a bouquet of flowers.
Plants add lovely shape, form to our rooms. They add height factors. Color of course.
Plants are very feng shui adding positive energy. Plants need tending which means there is TLC in each room.

Decorating a busy reception for a professional office.
Adding plants so I’m looking to see what works best. My oh My
what gorgeous stuff is out there and what inventive ideas
by creative people.

This installation will no doubt take time by an expert to maintain but it’s well worth it.
The beauty and the clean air. The positive energy gained by such creative
art is multiplied every time you pass by.

We all know the bad vibes when we mention vinyl or linoleum flooring.
But really the design options are outstanding. The product is very green to boot.

Real linoleum—as distinct from synthetic versions or vinyl—is made from all-natural materials,
including wood flour, rosins, ground limestone, powdered cork, pigments, jute and linseed oil.
As such it is one of the greenest flooring options out there today. The GreenFloors.com website
reports that old linoleum—including scraps and remnants from the production process—can be
recycled to create new sheets of the stuff. And given that it is made from natural materials,
linoleum is practically carbon neutral, and the energy created by incinerating it at the end
of its useful life is almost equal to the energy needed to create new linoleum. from scientificamerican.com

What’s not to love about this room? Everything about it is just right. The neutral colors and organic materials for decor. The beautiful view. Flooring that is a solid design feature is providing an excellent foundation.

This is the after. The counter is good for breakfast or evening cocktails.
The view out to the patio and golf course is always enjoyable.
A pale blue for the walls and a gorgeous orange toned granite countertop
makes for a beautiful kitchen.
